    The Human Resources Manager will be a strategic leader with a forward-looking and collaborative approach to managing talent. This individual will be a catalyst for constructive change.     As the Manager, you will personify an ethic of service with outstanding interpersonal and coaching skills while inspiring the agency’s workforce to achieve the highest levels of job performance and satisfaction. This individual will be a role model for ethical leadership, continuous learning, mentoring future leaders while embracing, diversity, equity and inclusion.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Provide day-to-day management support to Talent Acquisition, HRIS and Employee Relations.
    • Identify trends in compensation and benefits and make recommendations as appropriate to maintain agency objectives and competitive position in the market.
    • Oversee base and variable compensation programs, evaluation and merit review process.
    • Develop and implement departmental goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for each assigned service area. Establish appropriate service and staffing levels, and allocate resources accordingly.
    • Administer employee disciplinary policies and procedures; provide assistance to staff on disciplinary issues and action to be taken.
    • Monitor annual appraisal program including job descriptions, and performance evaluations.
    • Utilize salary survey data to ensure the agency maintains a competitive position in the market place for compensation and benefits.
    • HR liaison with legal counsel.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ degree required
    • Min of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, healthcare setting strongly preferred. Previous management experience required.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Detail oriented and customer service focused a must. Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines. Must be proficient with the use of the Internet, email, HRIS, ATS and Microsoft Office.
