Overview

Are you looking for an interesting and dynamic position in the growing field of home health care?  

 

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the coordination of all office sites in regards to inventory, facilities and courier functions within the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact/laison for the foundation for all facilities related requirements for seven sites.
  • Assume active role on the foundation safety committee.
  • Follow all health & safety practices, OSHA and DPH regulation, inspections, maintain safety data sheets.
  • Monitor material usage for cost efficient reordering and proper inventory balances.
  • Initiate, negotiate, and implement long term purchasing agreements on standard recurring items.
  • Monitor long term contracts for compliance, initiate new contracts via RFP.
  • Assist with budgeting process.
  • Oversee Courier & purchasing assistant.
  • Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the company as well as outside vendors.

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field, two of which were holding a supervisory position directing a multifunctional maintenance staff.
  • Experience in purchasing and inventory control.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work with vendors and purchasing agents.
  • Able to read printed words in English.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and writing).
  • Physically capable of performing the job with or without reasonable accommodations
